This font is a set of three different styles that can be combined to get distinct effects. Although the same results could be attained editing with Illustrator, this allows for a much faster way since the designer needs not to convert to outlines and then painting the shapes. Also It can be used straight away in Photoshop or with any word processor sofware. Just write whatever you want and stack them in the order you want!
